Youth Events

2008 UPCOMING EVENTS:

Valley of the Dry Bones Youth Rally: July 19-20 2008. This rally started out as a youth prayer meeting, and has now grown to over 2000 people. What began in a church sanctuary now has grown to the point we had to find several acres to hold everyone. There will be food and refreshments for sale through the Mountain Farm Campground. There are a number of vendors and tables set up for the bands and speakers to offer their CD's and merchandise. We also have T-shirts of the event for sale to help us cover costs. We are not charging an entry fee for this events, what God gives us we freely give to you. Though food and merchandise will be for sale, these proceeds go to the bands expenses and grounds costs. There are areas for camping on the grounds for those that would like to stay overnight. There are several motels and rentals in the area. If you are interested in finding a rental unit, please contact us and we would be glad to help you in your search. Several Rental Services are available, Canaan Reality (304-866-4400), Timberline Four Seasons Reality (304-866-2127), Canaan Valley Lodge (304-866-4121).

We have bands from Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio and working on a band from the Philadelphia area. We have a number of speakers from as far away as Oklahoma that will share with us. On Saturday night G-Force will perform feats of strength not only in the physical but also in the spiritual. Sunday morning we will have worship service followed by several bands. If you or your ministry would like to be involved contact Dan or Debbie Gates at 304-227-3647, or drybonesrally@yahoo.com  They would be delighted in hearing from you.

We will also have a place st up for Mission Networking, so if your church or denomination has a missions ministry and would like to set up and or speak at the rally contact us at the above number. We will have pre-registration for youth groups to make setting up easier, you must contact us early to get registered.

Area churches that would like to raise money for their ministry can help with the food. We are looking to help our church ministries also grow. This is a home grown rally that seeks to help our community help themselves. If you and your ministry would like to get involved please contact by email vdbministries@gmail.com

The Mountain Farm Campground is located 3 miles west of Harman, WV. on Route 32. Follow signs to campground.
