Clothing, Bedding, Linens, Baby Items and Household Items
Valley of the Dry Bones Ministries is now operating a ministry that meets the needs of the people that most need our help. Those that have lost everything and cannot just go out and replace them. We often times see people that have lost everything to fire or flood, trying to start over. But, as we look around today there are many who are losing everything that has nothing to do with natural disasters. People are losing their homes, their jobs and their dignity. They either are ashamed to ask for help or don't know where to turn for help. We are standing in the gap to show them that God's people care about them and want to stand beside them as they try to rebuild their lives. The children who must go to school in old worn out clothing and take the teasing of other children who do not understand what it means to be in a situation that you have no control over. We must also be ready to stand in the gap with those families that have lost one or both of their parents to death or prison. They must be cared for as they also try to go on.
We take donations from many different sources of clothing, bedding, linens, bath items, cook ware, utensiles, dishes. These items are given to these people free of any charge. We make nothing in the process except the blessings we receive from them as we see them begin to put their lives back together. We don't open our doors to the public as a retail outlet, but to those that are referred to us by churches, ministries, and even the Dept. of Health and Human Resources, in Randolph County, WV. If you would like to participate in a similar ministry, we would be glad to hear from you and would work with you to start a similar ministry in your area.
If we can help you to get your feet under you again you can contact us and we will be glad to meet your needs, and if we don't have something you really need we will find it for you. If you would like to donate items or money to purchase items we don't have, we would be glad to hear from you. We really appreciate childrens clothing and baby items. Through our Teen Pregnacy Center we help those young mothers who accept the responsibility or raising their babies, with all of the items they will need. Sometimes we often need to purchase these items because they are not readily available through donations. There is really no reason that anyone should be without the neccessities of life when God is ready and willing to help them through the out stretched hands of His children
